GEO-BLOK Retaining Wall is a 'reinforced earth retaining wall' technology which has emerged as an alternative to reinforced concrete retaining walls. The constituents of GEO-BLOK are concrete block, compacted filled soil, high-strength plastic-based geosynthetic equipment. In this system, horizontal loads within the soil are carried by the 'soil' + 'equipment' couple reinforced with geosynthetic equipments.
As to the surface elements, numerous aesthetic visual alternatives are obtained thanks to the variety of colours, textures and materials. GEOBLOK Retaining Walls are produced much faster than the reinforced concrete walls.
